Violet-backed Starling (Cinnyricinculus leucogaster), also known as the Plum-colored Starling, in Richards Bay. This species migrates within Africa, moving north in winter. Like all starlings they are omnivorous, eating fruit such as mulberries and figs, and insects such as butterflies, bees, wasps and locusts.
