Red-billed Oxpecker (Buphagus erythrorhynchus), a type of starling, in iMfolozi Game Reserve. In this photo the bird is perched between the ears of a rhinoceros. These common birds eat ticks, botfly larvae and other parasites on many types of large animals. They also peck at the mammals and open wounds so the large animals do not like them.
