Levaillant's Cisticola (Cisticola tinniens) also called Tinkling Cisticola, in Kruger National Park. Its diet is mostly small insects. The nest, built of dry grass and secured with spider web and lined with plant down, is usually near the ground or water, often in a grass tuft or bush overhanging a stream. Egg-laying season is from September-May, peaking from November-March. It lays 2-5 eggs, which are incubated for about 2 weeks and the chicks leave the nest after about 2 weeks.
