A meal unique to Trinidad is "Shark and Bake" or "Bake and Shark." (We heard it named both ways.) Sharks are a bycatch of the local fishermen and rather than throw it away they make these fish sandwiches with fresh rolls. The Wheelhouse Pub usually offered this on Saturday evenings.
