We sailed 485 miles from Domburg in Suriname to Scarborough in Tobago averaging 155 miles per day in squally weather. After checking in we sailed to Store Bay and stayed there for several days. One day was spent on a wonderful birding tour with Newton George. We went to Plymouth to see Leatherback Turtles nesting on the beach. Then we sailed to Chaguaramas, Trinidad, where we did much work on the boat and left it on the hard while visiting our families. Finally we departed from Trinidad and sailed north into the Caribbean.
