The topsides had never been painted and the gelcoat had accumulated some imperfections. We hired Ali (nicknamed "Lobster" because he likes eating them) to spray the topsides with Awlgrip paint. His crew sanded, faired, applied yellow primer, sanded, faired and primed again until the surface was extremely smooth.
