There are large campgrounds at the Park Headquarters on the eastern side of Ko Surin Nua and at Mai Ngam Beach on the western side of the same island. Tents are rented from the Park and many have distinctive National Parks patterns on their fabrics. A few visitors are also accommodated in cabins. The Park has places to buy basic meals (though our lunch was not very tasty) and provides other essential services to campers. A fleet of longtails and speedboats takes campers to good snorkeling places. There appeared to be many campers staying on the island during our second visit in 2010.
