This is the entrance to Yala National Park. There is a substantial fee for each vehicle and each tourist entering the park, and this is good for just one day. These fees were included in the tour package which we paid for in advance. Our tour on the first afternoon, inside the park, was excellent. The tour operator saved expense by keeping us outside the park border on our second day. That would have been fine if we had seen more wildlife outside but we were a bit disappointed.
