Most of the people in Nukufero had never been to Tikopia, so were delighted to see our photographs of that island and its people. We put on a "slide show" several times for different groups in our very warm closed-up main salon. Many of the people had never seen a photo of their chief. Some Tikopians had visited Nukufero and their photographs were recognized immediately.
