The Pied Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) is the large bird with upcurved bill. The Black-winged Stilt (Himantopus himantopus) has the straight bill and pink legs. The smaller birds are Curlews with slightly downcurved bills and Ruffs with straight bills.
