Souvenir salesmen in Victoria Falls were everywhere and very persistent. They sold carvings and other items for fairly good prices and bartering was definitely part of the game. This photo shows how they sometimes pursued us as we walked, trying to entice us by lowering prices. The town had "Tourist Police" who helped keep tourists from being hassled too much. |
