From the border we drove through the Chobe National Park as darkness fell and large, hard-to-see animals started to appear near and in the road. We avoided collisions with Elephants, Cape Buffalo and Giraffe and arrived safely in the town of Kasane. Chobe Safari Lodge had accommodations for all sorts of tourists, and had a fine, large campground. Their camp was full when we first arrived so we camped at a less-ideal place for one night. We got this site the next day and left our tents set up while seeing the Chobe River, Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park. It was fun living practically inside a tree.
