The entire Atlantic coast of Namibia is a desert. It could be one of the world's greatest beaches except that the Benguela Current brings water from the Antarctic up this coast. The cold water is fine for Fur Seals but not as pleasant for human swimmers. We would have driven along this beach to Sandwich Harbor but the tide was too high.
