Nina was a teacher before we started cruising, and we carried many school supplies to Burma. Sinbo was a small town where we thought our contribution would be helpful, so we went to the school. Here is M. T. Hkawn Nau who had the huge challenge of 56 first grade students in her classroom. She had almost no supplies and gratefully accepted pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers and notebooks along with a 1,2,3 book, an ABC book, an English dictionary, 2 elementary reading books and a mathematics book.
