This is Bagan's highest temple, rising to 63 meters (205 feet) and built in 1144. Visitors are not allowed on the upper floors, and the bottom floor walls are mostly whitewashed. Notice the horse cart in the photo. This is a popular way for visitors to tour Bagan, but we much prefer bicycles.
