This massive temple was constructed in the 12th century and is mysterious for several reasons. There are two concentric walkways around the inner core but the inner one and three of the four Buddha sanctums were completely filled with brick rubble centuries ago. The top spire was broken off, making the temple less impressive. We did not visit it.
