The Saldanha Bay Yacht Club is a very friendly group of sailors which we joined temporarily. Members come from Cape Town and other distant places to enjoy this lovely bay. Club facilities include a clubhouse with television, hot showers, washing machine, kitchen, tables, braais and a bar. Boats are on moorings but there is a substantial dock with power and water plus haulout and hardstand facilities for small boats. We greatly enjoyed the SBYC and highly recommend it to other cruisers.
