Nan Madol on Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, is an ancient stone city built on man-made islands. The anchorage for big boats is over a mile away. While we were exploring the canals and marveling at the ruins, half the blade of one oar broke off. This didn't stop us from having another excellent outing in the dinghy.
