In 2015 we bought a new Force 10 propane stove. Nina makes excellent use of the oven for breads, pizzas, quiches and other dishes. We have several aluminum gas "bottles" in an outside locker which are connected only to this stove. Some form of LPG (often a mixture of butane and propane) is available in most foreign ports for refilling our bottles. Because gas can be dangerous, we have an electrical solenoid shutoff on the gas line in the gas locker, a manual shutoff valve above the stove, stove burners equipped with automatic shutoffs if the flame goes out when the gas is flowing and an electronic "sniffer" in the bilge which would sound an alarm if gas was sensed.
