We have two of these large, two-speed winches with long handles in our cockpit. They are used to control the jib sheets and the spinnaker sheet, and also to furl the jib. Even a small person can generate tremendous power with these wonderful winches. The 12mm sheet lines are larger than needed for their job but comfortable on our hands.
