We bought a tent and rented a car in Noumea for a 5-day tour. We went to the northernmost point on Grand Terre, saw the west coast from Houailou north and all of the east coast. Here Nina is in Boulouparis. Her father and his comrades of the US Army's 43rd Division camped nearby during WWII waiting for assignment.
