This Coconut Crab was given to us by Jelken on his islet, Ajirriku. We boiled it and ate it for supper with salad and rice. Delicious! We then went ashore just after dark to hunt crabs with Jelken. Earlier he placed half coconuts on stakes as bait. We had fun sneaking around looking for crabs, but saw none. We don't think they are very plentiful in Ailuk now.
