These Mago Dancers had elaborate traditional headpieces representing lionfish, sharks, whales, tuna, etc. The local women were not allowed to watch all of the mens' dances, but it was okay for Nina to view them. Old customs are gradually changing, and now all the guys wear pants under their costumes.
