Ban Sala Dan on the northern tip of Ko Lanta has a ferry to the mainland and has become the gateway to Ko Lanta. We anchored in the northeast monsoon season in the open bay on the northwest tip of the island and walked to Ban Sala Dan. These longtails are used both for fishing and for taking tourists on rides.
