The only ship making regular visits to St Helena is the Royal Mail Ship of the same name. This ship comes from Cape Town, stops at St Helena and goes on to Ascension Island. It stops again at St Helena on its return to Cape Town. The round trip takes about three weeks. This island has no airport and the RMS St Helena provides its only passenger and cargo service.
