This is the treehouse where we stayed overnight just outside the Yala National Park boundary. This is a well-equipped place which even has a bathroom up in the air (with a pail under it.) Nearby buildings housed our guide, a cook and other people who worked in that area. We arrived at sunset after touring inside the park, had dinner and spent a pleasant evening chatting with the staff. We got a late start the next morning and were surprised that we did not re-enter the park but were taken around its edge where we did not see very much wildlife.
