Tea grows on a bush which would become 30 feet high if not regularly trimmed to about 3 feet. Large areas of hillsides are covered with these bushes. Access roads slice across the hills and some taller trees are allowed to grow among the tea bushes. Small villages are sprinkled throughout the region.
