This woman was making bowl-shaped pancakes called "hoppers" which are a popular Sri Lankan food often consumed with curries. The man behind her was making "Kotthu Rottie," a more elaborate dish consisting of rotis, vegetables and eggs all chopped and fried together. Both of these were delicious and inexpensive.
