This is Chris Albert, son of Benjamin Tua and destined to be the next Paramount Chief of Vanikoro. He is bright and energetic, and we enjoyed many interactions with him. Here he is wearing an ancient "Kolokolo" made from the shell of a giant clam with turtle shell inlay. Shaping this by hand long ago consumed incredible numbers of hours, so genuine kolokolos are rare and valuable.
