Nina and Zed went on a tour with John Ennis who charged $70 SD ($10 US) each and gave the money to Solomon Islanders who own the land they went on to see the sites. It was really worth the 8 am to 5p.m. tour. Nina said it was neat to perhaps stand on some ground that her Dad had been on during the war. The first stop on the tour was the American Memorial, which is very large and overlooks some of the battle sites.
