Most people in the crowded city of Singapore live in tall apartment blocks like this. This type of housing does not appeal to us, but Singaporeans seem to enjoy living in close proximity to each other in their clean and prosperous little country. Putting laundry out a window on a stick is apparently normal here, and eliminates the need for dryers in apartment buildings.
