Shwe In Bin is a monastery built of teak more than 100 years ago. It has marvelous old carvings all over the outside and also inside. Much of the wood is weathered and in need of repair or replacement, but funds seem lacking. We were shown through the monastery and its grounds by Nendo, a monk studying at a nearby university.
