Our first chameleon in the Mt. Ambre area was found in the garden of the Chez Vanina guesthouse. We never saw a chameleon's very long, very fast tongue which catches insects on its sticky tip. It must be amazing. In this photo the back of the head resembles a frog face looking up, perhaps something which evolved to deter predators?
