Samir drove the taxi-brousse which carried us from the ferry landing at Ankify to the Ankarana Reserve. We found him again in Joffreville where he was giving other tourists a day tour. He makes the round-trip from Diego Suarez to Ankify and back several times each week. We thought he was an excellent driver who seemed able to avoid almost all of the innumerable potholes on the route.
