A restaurant advertised a special evening for barbecues, so we tried their "Korean Barbecue." It was very like the New Year's Eve dinner we had in Cambodia two years earlier, except we had to do our own cooking here. We cooked prawns on top of the charcoal cooker, and made soup around the edges. Jerry had his first "Beer Lao," a decent lager. It was a fun first dinner in Laos.
