The "Rainbow Warrior" visited Tarawa to talk about the threat posed by foreign fishing fleets to Pacific tuna. Kiribati territorial waters cover an enormous area of sea, and one of the country's main sources of income is from the sale of fishing licences. However, Kiribati is too poor to have effective policing of its fished areas, and much fishing is illegal.
