This buffalo has a bite on his ear, almost certainly from a Komodo Dragon. The dragon's teeth are designed to hold a large number of virulent bacteria which cause a massive infection in any bite wound. There may also be some venom in their bites. This buffalo is evidently trying to keep cool in the water, but the infection is probably winning. Several dragons were lying nearby, waiting for their chance to feast.
