Six Primary Schools held their annual three-day athletic competition at Nambuna Village where we were visiting. Nambuna provided all the food to feed all the participants plus their families (from half of Koro Island). This huge pile of yams being peeled was part of it. They also bought three cows from Savusavu, provided additional types of food, and prepared everything. Next year the contest will be at a different village, and Nambuna Villagers will be guests.
