We spent three months in Chagos while some boats stayed for six, but eventually we all sailed away. Most sailed southwest to go around South Africa but some sailed east to Malaysia and Thailand. This is "Do It" sailing past Ile Diable towards Rodriguez, more than a week away at normal cruising speeds.
