Banteay Srei is a small temple about 20 miles from Angkor consecrated in 967. Exquisite stone carvings cover much of the temple, such as this area above a doorway. This shows Indra, goddess of the sky, riding her three-headed elephant and sending rain (diagonal streaks) down on Krishna and his brother Balarama who are standing in a forest with many animals.
