The galleries of Angkor Wat contain some of the largest friezes in the world. This one portrays the Hindu creation myth called "the Churning of the Sea of Milk." Others have scenes from the Hindu epic "Ramayana," the judgment of the dead, royal processions, and battles involving people, animals, gods and demons.
