"Arctracer" Letters

Back in Australia, March 2005

After 30+ hours traveling and 17 hours of sleep the first day back on the boat, we're recovering at sea level from being at 38,000 feet with terrible colds. When Jerry boarded the plane in New York he had only a small case of sniffles, but sitting on the chilly planes turned that into a bad chest infection. By the time we landed in Brisbane he coughed with almost every breath. Actually Jerry hasn't been this sick since 1998 when he had an allergic reaction to jellyfish in French Polynesia. He couldn't even read for the first couple of days back in Australia, but he is feeling better and should be fine in a few more days.

We're moving slowly today, listening to new CDs acquired while in the States, unpacking and sorting through things.
