This is one of the boat's folding propellers, mounted on the port side straight shaft. This propeller was purchased in 2015 from Austral Propellers in Australia and made by Eliche Radiche. It is bronze, 16 inches in diameter with 11 inch pitch, and geared so both blades open and close together. The boat's starboard propeller is very similar and was made by Austral but that model is no longer available.
