After the topsides were all done we painted the bottoms of the hulls with antifouling. This should help to keep barnacles and other shellfish from attaching themselves to the boat. Antifouling paints for yachts are expensive but neither as effective nor as long-lasting as those used on large ships. We were not allowed to use those superior products.
