A huge bag of garlic bulbs was added to our stores in Sri Lanka. Hung in the forepeak these kept extremely well and we were still using them in Madagascar, six months later. The box of wine was one of several purchased in Langkawi. We do not drink any alcohol on passages and at anchor Jerry tried to limit himself to one glass per night except when we had company. Perhaps we should have bought more of those boxes, but they lasted until Madagascar where we restocked. Our Navy friend Lalith gave us a couple of drinking coconuts from his own tree.
