Nosy Saba had no permanent residents but there were a few canoes drawn up on shore at a fishing camp. Their fish drying rack (at the right side of this photo) enabled them to keep their catch for many days before returning to the mainland. We caught another nice Spanish Mackerel soon after we started sailing from here so perhaps it was a good place to fish.
