Kidd's Cove is the most protected part of the Georgetown waterfront. We arrived on the eve of the Family Islands Regatta, an annual three-day event. Racing sloops from all over the Bahamas were anchored in the cove. Their designs were derived from traditional Bahamian fishing boats.
