Pat and Jan from Tauranga, New Zealand, joined us just after we moved aboard the catamaran. On this cruise they sailed with us from Mooloolaba to Airlie Beach. We met them first in Tauranga when we were "on the hard" with the schooner in 1999. At that time Pat was getting his boat, "Moonraker," ready to sell. We went to Tauranga three times during South Pacific cyclone seasons and became very good friends with this wonderful couple.
