A substantial fleet of fishing boats is based in Saldanha Bay. They include purse seiners, crayfish boats, mussel farmers and others. The boats in this picture are near the large Sea Harvest processing plant. Young women wearing fancy dresses seem incongruous in this setting. We had an excellent lunch with friends at the "Slipway" restaurant where we took this photo.
