This is the door from our cockpit into the main salon. It is usually latched open, but can be closed for bad weather and locked when we leave the boat. We designed this door and had it made in New Zealand in 2003. The windows are made of thick plexiglass, and are practically unbreakable. We hang screening material with velcro to keep mosquitoes out when anchored near shore.
